The Totems

Every Alolan traveler must know of the magnificent Totem Pokémon! These are the powerful guardians of the Island Trials, revered by the local people and respected for their might. Encountering them is a true mark of an Alolan adventure!

Melemele Island: The formidable **Gumshoos** (or Alolan Raticate in the night).
Akala Island: The dazzling **Wishiwashi** (School Form) or the fiery **Salazzle**.
Ula'ula Island: The mysterious and spooky **Mimikyu** or the electric powerhouse **Vikavolt**.
Poni Island: The mighty dragon-type **Kommo-o**.

Gumshoos/Raticate

Gumshoos and Raticate are like yin and yang. A powerful pair to trifle with.

Wishiwashi/Salazzle

Wishiwashi may look terrifying, but it's actually several smaller fish swarming together as one mass. Salazzle is the opposite, using deadly hallucinagines and nuerotoxins as well as flame based attack for her foes.

Mimikyu/Vikavolt

Mimikyu is a tough foe, not only is it a ghost but it is also a fairy. don't let it's cute rags deceive you as weakness. vikavolt is a fast and speedy bug that will shock you to bits, literally. It's arsenal includes electric based attacks.

Kommo-o

kommo-o is a tough opponent for two reasons.
1. It's a dragon.
2. It can blow you away with sound waves
